How is the river doing?
RiverNode shows water temperature, river level, rainfall and weather for each river, from RiverNode sensors on the bank and from the Environment Agency. Choose a river to start.
What you'll see
- River nowWater temperature first, coloured by band and with the band in words: Fine · under 15 °C Watch · 15–18 °C Trout stressed · over 18 °C. Then river level, weather and air pressure.
- Fishing windowWhich hours of today, and of the next few days, fall in each band. The days ahead are worked out from the weather forecast, so treat them as a guide.
- ChartsTrend, battery and solar, river and rainfall, temperature and pressure. Hover over or tap a line for the exact value; tap a name in a chart's key to hide that line.
- DatesThe last 7 days to begin with. Change them under River & rainfall and every chart follows.

- How fast the battery is charging (positive) or discharging (negative), in amps.

- What's drawing power from the MPPT's own load output terminals right now, in amps.
- Solar Power
- How much power the solar panel is producing right now, in watts.
- Solar Yield Today
- Total energy the panel has generated since local midnight, in kWh — resets to zero every day.
- Charger State
- What the solar controller is doing (bulk/absorption/float charging, or off overnight) — shown in "About This Station", not chartable here since it's a state, not a number.
